trips - mobile - Nopigia
The coastal village Nopigia is located in the Gulf of Kissamos and 15 minutes away from Kaliviani. I like to do this walk for a Sunday doodle because it’s easy and near by. We left our car near the camping place. The country lane goes along the sea and the mountains of Rodopos. Some of the rocks are twinkling because of minerals inside of them. One rock shines total green - will you find it?
We have passed a little chapel and for sure some goats are hanging around for a good photo shoot. A little time later we came to a deserted stony beach. Here you can have a swim or climb in the rocks. Some trees give shade.
Going back, we can make a stop at one of the “Sacharoplasteia” (cake shops) to buy half a kilo of mixed titbits to nibble them at home. Or you’re longing for an ice-cream? No problem, the cake shops offers ice per kilo to take away and it is very deep frozen to survive the way back home even in the hot summertime.
This page has been already proof readed by J. Spencer, thank you!
