Trips, starting from Kaliviani - general

Starting from Kaliviani you can make a lot of different level walks by boat, car, bus or bicycle all over the west of Crete up to the south coast.

In this chapter the sea will not take the most attention - to get information about going swimming please have a look to the chapter beaches. Anyway, a beach may exist at the end of a walk, so put your swimming stuff into your bag - travelling with a car gives you enough space for some things to take with you just in case.

If the devil is around and you have trouble in the middle of the mountains where no one speaks any language than Greek, have a look into the chapter emergency, there you will find a list with some translations. Print them and put them into your pocket to have them always around you.
