All the photos you can see here in spring, summer, autuum or winter are made in or around Kaliviani. This aerial is full of olive groves every age - the oldest trees of them have roots back into times round about Jesus Christ was still alive. Most of the plants you can find here are really surviving artists like the Makkia. It’s roots helps to fix the ground of the mountains, so the strong rainfalls in winter are not able to wash the ground away.
Once in Kaliviani wheat and wine grows in the small fields. Still now you can find some of the threshing places in the olive groves.
